You've got a new book coming out. All they did was win,

shootouts, shockers, and cambacks on the road to Auburn's 2010 National Championship.

I'm sold. The title alone, I'm ready to go. I'm ready to read this thing. Awesome. Well,

I hope everybody else feels that way too. And I appreciate you having me on talk about it a little bit.

Yeah, of course. Of course. So I'm just kind of reading, you know, the, some of the notes about this that you sent me. And I love that you start the storytelling or you, because you can't tell the 2010 season story without talking about the few years prior

obviously hiring Chiswick what what uh let's start with Gene Chisick because I think I was a sophomore

in high school when they hired him it's like I wasn't really in it yet right but I remember like

a lot of the Auburn fan base being shocked,

bringing up his record at Iowa State, doing your research for this book. Does it change that at all?

I think that probably the thing that changed in my own view about all this the most after

writing this book is how I felt about

jean chiswick i mean i was grateful to him already for for 2010 but but in fact john and i kind of

debate by the end of the book was he treated fairly at the end even so we actually kind of came to

have more respect for jean chiswick the more that you look into the 2010 season, the 2009 season and everything around it,

I think the more Chisick's role grows and the more respect you get for him.
