Today's podcast is an interview with Heather Veter on being a beacon, which is all about leadership.

And I thought this was apropos, considering I'm about to dash off to Boulder to do a week-long

sojourn, actually, on authentic leadership at that lovely Buddhist university.

And so I'm really, really excited about this.

So I thought this was a very appropriate time to share Heather's thoughts on leadership.

So Heather is a small-town girl with big city dreams.

And as you see in the photo, she's an absolute doll.

And you see her kitty Simon.

And currently she's working on completing her lifelong goal of becoming a doctor,

After graduating from the University of Idaho, with a psychology degree, she attended Eastern

Washington University, where she received an MSW.

At the present time, Heather is working on her PhD in Leadership studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

She's passionate about creating functional pottery, feeling good through mindful practices, and her three cats, Simon, Jackson, and Figaro.
