Is it your sense that none of those people had a chance that it was blow all along?

Or was there a McDaniel wildcard that they still entertained up until late last week?

Yeah, to your point of, did any of those other people have a real shot?

I mean, I don't think so would be my guess.

I don't know this for fact.

You know, the two candidates from outside of here, one guy from Dallas

that Quinn obviously would know, and then Drew Terrell was here.

I don't know that we're not seeing those guys mentioned on anybody else's

supposed offensive coordinator list. So that seems probably unlikely.

You know, Brian Johnson, I think if we had gone back to the beginning of the season and just

said, hey, Cliff is going to leave to take another job or something.

Who's next in line if they're going to hire internally?

And I think the logical answer would have been Brian Johnson because he's been a coordinator.

He was brought in to be a passing game coordinator and assistant head coach with Quinn.

You know, he's experienced.

David Blow, not experienced.

So that would have been the one thought.

So maybe that was the other possibility.

But, you know, if you're going to go with Blow, you know, you probably had to figure,

you probably had a sense about this, you know, for some time.

And obviously, they're going for the upside, you know, and it's maybe that's the way to go.
