All right. It's a busy week in the NFL. Busy week here. Mike McDaniel, if you miss the news, fired in Miami.

Certainly, he would be an interesting hire to replace Cliff Kingsbury here in Washington.

the game, and I was wondering, you know, what you knew about the Kingsbury situation. You and I've talked about this before, but I think it's interesting how guys who are calling games that get that opportunity to sit down with coaches and quarterbacks, and sometimes you guys get more information, even if it's on background to kind of use

in the broadcast.

But did you have a sense that the Kingsbury thing was coming?

Not from my conversation with Cliff.

I didn't really go down that road.

I did ask him if he would consider like a college job

again. And we kind of talked about the craziness that is college football right now. But when I

spoke with him on Friday, I think that that was before some report started to trickle out Saturday and Sunday

morning that maybe it was more than just him potentially, you know, going for a head coaching

job somewhere else and that maybe he would be moving on regardless. I think it was maybe Diana Rossini.

I think Ben Standig wrote something about it.

So there had been stuff that I had seen,

which is why I referenced it during the game.

But, you know, it wasn't hard and fast.

And, you know, it wasn't hard and fast, and, you know, it wasn't like something I wanted to

expound upon, but just I felt like there had been multiple reputable reports that it was at least
