So, you know, it really did feel Monday like almost a repeat of the

Youngkin Ted announcement, different, you know, a different context. One team was leaving the

city, the other one's coming back. And I think this one perhaps feels maybe closer than that one

did. But how close are they? Where is the city council now?

And what do they have to do to get a deal worthy of voting yes on it? So I think, Kevin, my problem

with it was, and your reference to the Leonis-Yonkin Virginia deal is exactly right.

Like, it shouldn't have been presented as a finality.

It shouldn't have been presented as they are coming home.

It should have been presented as the mayor's office and the team have worked hard to come

out with a deal that they think is fair for both sides. And let's

talk about it with the city and let's talk about it with the council. And we all have work to do

here. Let's make sure we're moving forward and everybody's informed. And I think the reason I think

it was, you know, kind of borderline offensive is that it seemed to me to be playing with hearts and minds of like, let's stir all the emotions of how great everybody feels about the RFK site and what happened at the RFK site back in the day and push the train further down the tracks than it actually was.

Now, that doesn't mean I don't think that the stadium's going to get built there.
