He's new in town.

Tashon Reed joined the post about a week ago, somewhere around there, about a week ago,

He's now one of the new beat reporters covering the team for the Washington Post.

We had Tom Shad on the show yesterday. We've got Tashon on with us right now. Tashon, welcome to

town. You also covered the Raiders for the athletic for a few years, which is the other reason I wanted to

reach out to you. But how's it going so far and tell us a little bit about yourself?

Yeah, it's been a crazy transition. I've actually only been on the beat for as of Monday.

So pretty, about as fresh as you could get, moved moved out here last week coming over from Vegas.

Pretty suddenly.

So it's been kind of wild.

I felt like I got traded or something.

I don't know what Michael Parsons was talking about a little bit more now.

But it's been cool, man.

I'm excited to jump into it and get started.

I covered the Raiders since 2020, and so,

and a lot of stuff going on over there between all the different coaching changes

and the off-the-field issues and ownership changes now with Tom Brady getting involved.

So it had a wild ride out there, but it was great for me, you know,

a lot of quality experience and covered a lot of fun stories.

And excited to kind of, you know, use what I learned there to come over and attack this commander's beat.
