and then with the number seven overall pick in the first round.

on the show times before. What was your biggest takeaway from last week?

Hey, Kevin. Good talk to you, buddy. That's a good question. The quarterback situation is what

it is, and that's not a concern for the commanders of their fans

but it's going to be fernando mendoza and then tyson is going to try to make his case i think the

biggest takeaway and this is my eighth or ninth year covering the draft is that buyer beware when a player

shows up at the combine and runs a four three five, five, or jumps 42 and a half inches,

because if it doesn't match what you saw in the fall, you're sort of fooling yourself.

Now, Sonny Stiles, he's not the exception.

Sonny Stiles, I think, just proved to everyone, the Ohio State linebacker, that he is one of the best athletes in this class, and he has a chance to be one of the best players because he was a safety initially, moved to off-ball linebacker, and it took him two years to figure that out, and that's what he had been to us when he spoke with him. And now teams may try to figure out ways to put him in advantageous pass-rush situations, given the down-and-distance.

But there are some guys that ran fast, and I was like, ah, interesting.

That didn't match what I saw in the fall.

And then Sonny style sort of confirmed what we thought the type of player he had the potential

to be, and now just a matter of how high you get strapped in what those expectations.

I think that's such a good warning, and it's an experienced view.

Do you think teams get tricked by that anymore?
