Matt Miller, ESPN, put out a story this morning about the upcoming draft.

Three weeks from today, we will know who Washington selected in the first round.

I'll also share with you coming up here in this hour who the odds on favorite is

to be picked by Washington at number seven.

So Matt Miller had 12 players graded as first rounders in this draft.

Matt Miller is one of the draft experts at ESPN.

It looks like the fewest for him in a while.

In 2025, he had 13 first round grades in

2024. He had 18 first round grades in 2023, 20 first round grades. This year, just 12 players

with actual first round grades, even though there will be 32 players selected in the

first round. His 12 players included six on offense. I've shared those with you. Fernando Mendoza,

Jeremiah Love, Mackay Lemon, Carnell Tate, Kenyon, Sadiq, and Francis Mowanoa. Those are the

six on offense that he has with first-round

grades. So no Jordan Tyson, as an example, wide receiver, as a first-round-graded player.

But there is a missing defensive player from his list that is very surprising.

So here are the players he has with first round grades defensively. He has just six.

The first one is David Bailey. He comps David Bailey, and I think I've mentioned this player

before in talking about David Bailey. He comps Bailey to Nick Benito with the Broncos.

So just one edge he has with a first round grade.

Now, he does have R.Vell Reese, just so you know as a linebacker.

He's got no interior defensive lineman with first-round grades.

And then he's got Arvel Reese as a linebacker with a first-round grade.
