So there are a couple of big takeaways for me from this you know story which i think we all knew

eventually would come i think the odds were tilted heavily in favor of dc once they got control of the

land because clearly josh harris and the ownership group, Mitch Rails, Markine, etc.

They're from here.

They remember what it was like when the team played there.

They understand the fan base wants it back in D.C., and that's where they've wanted it.

And by the way, I would suggest, and I've been trying to get some

information that's more definitive on this, but just easy back of the envelope math tells

you that they're going to be spending a lot more money to go to D.C. The commitment from

Josh Harris, Mitch Rails, Mark Eind, and this ownership group, two and a half

billion plus, maybe it comes in under, maybe it comes in over, is a lot more than what they

would have spent to stay in Landover. They own the land, already in Landover. They would have

had to build a stadium. There was already a billion dollars committed to development around it, around the stadium.

But the cost would have been less.

Maryland was going to contribute.

And the move to D.C. for the team is more expensive.

That's number one.
