I find them to be fascinating, especially with this particular scenario,

Buddy Baker leaked the original contract three years up to $96 million. And as soon as Schaefter

set up to $96 million, you're like, all right, there's some stuff missing here. So we got the

details. I still think it's a good deal for Terry. He got what he wanted. I'm happy for him. How much money is he actually going to make, though, in 2025? Or how much money could he actually make in 2025? And the answer is a lot. A lot, a lot. A lot. So he gets a $30 million signing bonus that he gets now.

So when he sign, you get the $30 million or like it takes a couple of days.

But effectively, for the sake of conversation, you sign, you get the $30 million.

So immediately $30 million in 2025.

Because of that, his projected $18 to $19 million salary for this year, it does take a little

bit of a hit in terms of base salary, and the base salary goes to $1.75 million.

This is relatively basic across the NFL.

When you have a massive signing bonus, they take that of the money and they convert it

elsewhere in your contract, and they give you what is the veteran minimum, they take that other money and they convert it elsewhere in your contract.
