Sometimes I find myself rooting for certain players, and I was really rooting for Carson Beck last night to play well.

I've been rooting for him all season long, if you've paid attention.

I really liked Miami early in the season.

Stanford, Steve kind of talked me into it.

Denton talked me into it a little bit.

Denton did not like Carson Beck, and I thought he was going to be right,

but that's why you have to wait until the end of a season.

He's been a very interesting, for those who haven't followed it,

very interesting college football story for the last year. And last night,

the story added by far and away its most dramatic chapter. Good morning, everybody. Yeah,

just over a year ago, Carson Beck tore up his elbow in the SEC championship game,

quarterbacking Georgia against Texas.

It was his UCL, the ulnar collateral ligament.

Nobody knew if he'd ever be able to throw the football the same way again,

because he was at Georgia, as he is now, different for today's game,

especially in college.

He is a true pocket passer primarily, not necessarily a guy that's going to rip teams up with
