As we continue to recognize everybody who puts service above self, here on Veterans Day, we are joined by Matthew U, who is an army guy.

You were at West Point, which which what made you want to serve?

When I was in high school, I had a guy when I was a freshman, he was a senior, and he was going

to West Point, and he told me all about it while he was driving me home from a basketball

game that I couldn't get into.

He came out around half time because we were up by so much.

And even though he lived in the opposite direction, he drove me home and was telling me about

how he was going to West Point and how it was such a great school.

And I just thought, this guy's so great.

He's going out of his way to drive me in the opposite direction. And, you know, this place must be filled with guys like him. I'm like, I want to be like him. That is cool. That is cool. So you went to Loyola High School, right? I did, yes. Where did you have to drive to? I grew up in Hankock Park. Okay. Okay. It wasn't much of a commute. It was about four months.

No, but he drove you. He drove me west. He lived closer to the Pasadena area. Oh, wow. Yeah.

Yeah. I'm just saying, I let people know. Like, when you, when you drive somebody 45 minutes out of their way.

So that's a big thing. You have continued this life of Sir.
