here is Mego with today's news. Stefan Diggs is expected in Dedham District Court this morning

as trial gets underway regarding assault accusations,

a former personal chef lobbied against him last December. He has pleaded not guilty. Judge Jean-Marie Carroll will oversee the selection of 12 jurors today.

And opening statements are expected to begin tomorrow.

Diggs's mother was initially on the witness list, but his legal team says they do not anticipate

she will actually be a witness in this trial.

How do they get a jury that doesn't know who Steph Diggs is?

I mean, I guess he could know who he is.

You can't be a Patriots fan or a Diggs fan and be on the jury.

The court filings did include the list of questions that the defense wants potential jurors to answer.
