the 14th of May the first home game for your links the 17th of may here's Cheryl Reeve she's happy to get things started really good much like probably all coaches are going to feel the energy is really high right there's 12 teams in the wmba that are excited to be doing what they're doing it's been a long off season so we're excited to get back together and I'm sure every coach will tell you that the execution is not where they want it to be. To this point what we've constructed in terms of style play is based on the skill that we have, what our strengths are, what we perceive our strengths to be. The links, for a lot of people's intents and purposes, overachieved last year.

They exceeded their expectations of, like, win totals, outsider expectations, I should say, because

Cheryl probably expected that they would win the title and does every year. So to have that as

your base and have two rookies who played starters minutes and gave starting production as

true rookies in the WNBA last year, come back for second years.

I think there's a lot to be excited about Minnesota Lynx basketball this year.

I mean, or they could have done the right thing and just lose every game and maximize their

opportunity to get Caitlin Clark, who grew up a links fan.
