And without further ado, Ben, I'm sure you, even though you were traveling the globe, you were keeping up to date with what they're proposing

rules wise, but in case not, here you go.

And if special teams coordinators have made a proposal that if approved would drastically change

the kickoff in 2024.

Here are the three biggest nuggets from the proposal, which would need 75% approval from

the league's owners to put into effect.

Are you ready?

A new set-up zone, Kick and return teams would line up on the receiving teams

40 and 35 yard line respectively. Neither team could leave on the kickoff until the ball reaches the target zone, which is the 20

yard line to the goal line. This is similar to the kickoffs employed in the XFL in 2023.

So that's number one. What do you think of that? Line up on the 40 and 35 that neither team can move

until the ball crosses the 20 yard line. So you're basically allowing the return team to sort of get in position

before the ball's even snapped.

So like there's no like kind of lining up

and running backwards to set up.
