Five more jurors were chosen in the second Karen Reid trial yesterday, bringing the total to seven now.

And supporters of Reid have filed a lawsuit in federal court to end the buffer zone.

They're arguing that a court-mandated buffer zone violates their constitutional rights.

In said buffer zone, you can't be wearing certain things holding

certain signs being vocal about what side you fall on and judge bev has extended that buffer

zone for the second trial here's plaintiff jason grant on bz i feel like if if we don't stand up

for our rights here now and like they can do whatever they want and just

walk all over us there's some people in the morning but then people aren't hanging around as much

during the day for the trial because it just really know what to be does it clear like violations

of our first amendment rights out here well i mean yeah i mean there have been trials that you know

certainly of national prominence where there were no buffer zones, like the OJ trial comes to mind.

But, you know, there's a concern, I guess, that jurors could be influenced when they hear what the, what people are protesting about outside.

How about just, like like go to work in the

karen reed said that they were upset the fact that there were protesters right outside the room

where the jurors were deliberating. But I'm with Curtis.

It's like if you have time to file this type of lawsuit, it's like...

Well, Curtis was saying the other day that everybody's mind is made up either way on this.

And so are we to believe that they are finding jurors who haven't already made up their mind on what happened?

I guess you've got to trust the process, but...
