And investigators are looking into the cause of an overnight fire at a creamery in Hastings,

the Hastings Creamery, shut down last month that they're losing access to the city's

sewer service, the fire at the creamery was reported about 10 30 last night and forced

public safety officials to tell local residents to remain inside their homes.

The Hastings Fire Department said some ammonia in the building leaked as a result of the fire

but dissipated overnight, a stretch of Highway 61 was closed due to the fire and nearby

residents are being told to keep their HVAC units off today due to residual smoke in

the area.
