So I wanted to start.

This is sports adjacent, but there was an article yesterday by Dan Wetzel over on ESPN

that I highly recommend everybody go and read because we talk a lot on this program about kids and teenagers with phones

nowadays and there is a rising problem in across the country basically with young student

athletes in high school that are getting basically targeted by scammers

in what's called sextortion cases, which in the instance that Dan Wetzel goes through,

it talks about how a young man from Michigan is a student athlete, because they are student

athletes, they have a larger imprint or footprint, I should say, on online, and they become easier targets.

And they get in conversations with catfish accounts.

In this case, it was three brothers from Nigeria that, you know, not coerce, but eventually convince this young man to send illicit photos

back and forth and then immediately blackmail him and start threatening him for cash to the

point where he then takes his own life.

And this is becoming more and more frequent across the country and becoming a massive issue

because they not only threaten him to threaten these people that they're scamming to send

money but then they threaten to send this picture to all of his friends and family and
