Minneapolis City Council, the liberating and a proposed change to the city's tobacco products ordinance aiming to set a minimum

price of $15 for most tobacco items excluding taxes. The plan also seeks to eliminate coupon usage, increased penalties

for selling to minors, and close a loophole allowing indoor smoking in some establishments.

They are emphasizing the public smoking in some establishments.

They are emphasizing the public health benefits of such measures targeting tobacco-related

illness and mortality, particularly affecting communities of color.

However, concerns arise regarding the potential impact

on businesses with some arguing that against the price hike claiming it may not deter smoking

and could adversely affect sales.

We have learned over the last handful leaders that Zach Halverson is triggered by about five or six different things, the number one being the Koch-free style machine.

Yeah, he hates them.

But we've also learned that taxing, nicotine,

or specifically cigarettes, even though he's a non-smoker,

drives him up the wall.
