Good morning from JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida.

Day number two of our spring training coverage here at WEEI and significantly warmer this morning than it was yesterday.

So that's a good thing.

It's not 70.

It's 51 or whatever, but we're getting there.

And the sun will be up later, and we got a lot to get to on the show when it comes to the Red Sox

and the rest of what is going on, including Celtics loss last night, which I'm not going to get

too worked up about three and one on the road trip.

So they kind of that second unit which has been

so good yeah all season long was not that good in that in that game last night when when they

needed them to be so uh they were in it three quarters you and i were watching a little bit of it last night at Warren Iron, but I, you know, kept it a game until the end of the third quarter and just didn't close it. But like you said, that they've been on a great, what are they, like, they've won nine in their last 10 or 11 or something like that. So I'm not going to hit the panic button. That was four straight and so they finished three and one on the road. I think are we right now, we're really on the Jason Tatum watch. Can we be done with that though? But I don't think you... Unfortunately, we can't because of what the documentary and as we get closer to the end of the season. We can't call that a documentary. A documentary is not a two... No, I'm not blaming you with you.

I'm saying that the people that talk about it, it's like, it's a three-minute clip.

It's like the Greg Hill show done day one from training camp.

Like, literally, if he's ready to play basketball, he should play basketball.

And if he's not ready, we don't need a breathless report every single hour on what he's doing and whether he's going to come back or not.

No, I mean, I agree with you.

I mean, the thing that I've always looked at is he kind of told us at the beginning of the year or early in the season that he's coming back. So when I said we're out like we're on the Jason Tatum watches, we get closer to the end of the season, don't we all anticipate him to come back and play this year at some point in time? Yes. So that's kind of where, you know, the team has been playing great. Jalen Brown has done a tremendous job all year long. So now it's like, all right, we are now just waiting to see when Tateham can come back and then what he looks like, what his role looks like, and kind of where we're going from them. But the thing, the issue is not the rehab. It's what he's said about the rehab for months now, where it's like, if he had never told the pivot that he doesn't

know if he wants to come back because he doesn't want to disrupt the chemistry, this isn't really

a story. Like, it would just be he's going to be with the main red claws, and then he's with the, whatever the hell, and then he's going to do a couple games where he's like, you know, five-on-five practice scrimmages and then he's going to be ready to go.

I don't understand why it's been this like protracted conversation.
