All right, in case you didn't know, it's Halloween.

And more than just candy, Halloween is all about those costumes.

Now, outside of Comic Con, today is the day where a large percent of the population is in disguise.

And you can expect to see all the regulars, witches, vampires, pirates, and of course, the

slutty version of any given profession, mainly nurses, nuns, and cops.

This year, according to Google, some of the more costumes include characters from the

Netflix hit,

K-pop Demon Hunters, the boo-moos.

And believe it or not, a two-person system where sadly they will simply be six, seven.

Now, whatever the costume, you can expect some weirdness tonight, not because it's Halloween,

but because people will be in costume.

Halloween or not, when people dress in disguise, they simply act different.

And believe it or not, it's actually a psychological phenomenon called enclosed cognition,

which is a real fancy way of saying that we basically act the way we dress.

So on Halloween, a lot of people, of course, are dressed up, and then they... way of saying that we basically act the way we dress.

Now, that is the fancy way of saying that way you're in a group of people that are dressed

up.

Everyone just kind of, well, you shun personal responsibility and you behave in a way that you normally wouldn't. And that's not just Halloween or Comic-Con. Think about it. It affects the Santa Pub Crawl. If you bump into those guys when they're doing their thing, right, they're all kind of holly, jolly and hammered. The Seafar Pirates, try to have a normal conversation with one of them when they're doing their thing, it ain't going to happen. Sports teams, when they run on the field, they're not your friend anymore. Or, ah, well, when it comes down to it, when you have to dress nice. You know those rare times, guys, when we have to dress in a suit. We do feel a little more confident. I mean, we just do. It's just kind of how it works.

But the point is, weirdness, it just seems to follow dress-up. And that's what we're talking about today.
