All right, rescue operations are in full swing on the Tibetan side of Mount Everest.

After a snowstorm stranded about, oh, I don't know, 1,000 people at high altitude campsites.

And it wasn't just any snowstorm.

Even locals are saying that they have not seen a snowstorm like this

in an early October in many a year.

Many a year, many a year.

Now, these stranded mountain climbers,

they're not the only ones needing rescue.

A couple of would-be explorers in England.

They spent 30 hours trapped in a cave system last weekend

when the area was hit with an extra-tropical cyclone named Storm Amy. So what is an extra

tropical cyclone? I don't know, but it's kind of in the name. It's bad, right? Heavy winds,

rains, et cetera, et cetera, and they're in caves. It's extra. It's extra. It's just extra.

And then a man in Rhode Island, he needed some rescue after he crashed his motorcycle and then

flipped over a guardrail and then fell 60 feet below.

And we all agree, yeah, that sucks.

But at least he could be rescued.
