Because people can never make up their mind, you know. But the donut ladies know how to get back at you. They do the subtraction for you in front of the other customers make it look like an idiot, you know?

You know, yeah, I'll take a dozen donuts. I'll start with seven chocolate. You have five left. Oh.

Oh, how many? I have five donuts left, everybody. If I order one more, then how many would I have left?

How many would I have at that point if I order another donut right now, this point in time?

That's my question, donut lady.
