Weather update, it's pretty, pretty toasty up here. It's like 80 degrees today.

The past weekend was pretty chilly in the morning and been on two duck hunts so far this season.

First one was our opener two weeks ago, did pretty good.

I shot quite a few Henwoodies, but it was still a good shoot.

And then, didn't have much time his past weekend, but a buddy of mine,

we took his son out and he shot a hen

woody and Kimber made a heck of a retrieve so they got super excited to see that

and she chased it down in some thick grass like across this little,

it's a beaver dam, but it's a stream.

And the back side of the stream, I didn't even know kind of existed it was more

just swampy bottom and this this woody went down and Kimb was gone for about four or five minutes and comes back with this duck that's still alive and she brings it back.

I was taking pictures and she brought it back to my buddy and put it right at his feet and he didn't pick it up so it jumped back in the water so

Kimber went back after it brought it back again and then we took care of it so but they were his

son who is I think he's like 14 13 14 somewhere on there but just super excited to see her come back he couldn't believe
