Backing is going to come back. We're going to be an AI bad house. I can see that happening. AI, you realize AI will be the ruination of all of us. Yes. We're done. Oh, we are done. No, I, and unfortunately, I think this bad, Tiki segment has sped up the eventual end of all of us because of AI.

Might as well get it over. I mean, might as well. I'm not getting any younger. What's your feeling on the state of the team? Obviously, recent funk, hopefully last night gets them out of it. There's still only a half game out of first place. Give me your state of the Mets field. Look, the one overriding feeling I have

right now is that you just can't keep asking your bullpen for 12 to 15 outs a night. It's not

sustainable. And that's why guys are coming up and down literally every day. Because you've got to

have some fresh arms out there, but you're starting pitches starting pitches have got to go deeper than they've been lately.

I think they will.

There's no reason to assume they won't.

But it's certainly something that I think is going to influence how David Stearns approaches the deadline, which is a little over a month away.

So, I mean, that's the first thing.

You know, guys who generally hit should hit. I mean, obviously Soto was going to come around at some point. And I think, and he even talked about this last night, the warm weather has a lot to do with it. Right. There are some guys who just are not comfortable playing, and we had some lousy weather the first two months under those conditions. But obviously, the lineup needs to lengthen a little bit.

They expected more from Alvarez.

Hopefully he's able to come back and provide some.

Winker is getting close, which will provide.

Yeah, exactly.

So I think the plan for him is to D.H. Sunday for Brooklyn.

And I don't think it's inconceivable that he'll be back before the All-Star break now and perhaps, you know, a week before the break. You know, one of the issues that you bring up, especially with some of these guys getting healthy winkers, one of them. And Mark Vientos is likely to be activated either tonight or tomorrow. Tomorrow probably. So likely tomorrow, it creates an interesting roster decision.

And Evan was talking about this earlier, but Ron and Vericio has been really good over the last couple of days.
