Why do you think that that's the case?

I think because of the synergism that exists between ownership, the front office, manager, coaches,

all the way down to the players in the dugout.

And I'm not saying that they're going to be interchangeable because there is going to be changed but I would submit that the owner say GM slash

president of baseball operations manager triumvirate has a better cooperative

relationship than any of those three positions simultaneously that I've

seen in all my years covering the Mets.

It's that harmonious.

They're pulling in the same direction.

They're all extremely bright and good at what they do.
