Summary
Ways To Improve Physical and Teacher Health To Increase Your Business Productivity
Being physically active and improving your teacher health doesn't mean going into more debt with that gym membership you bought and forgot about, or even participating in those crazy mudder runs, triathlons or weight lifting competitions.Ā
All that is recommended is 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 75 minutes of muscle strengthening activities regularly. However, less than 5% of adults participate in even 30 minutes of structured physical activity in a given week.

| 0:00.0 | Hello, CEO teachers. Welcome back to the show. Today's topic is when I am really, really excited |
| 0:05.4 | about sharing with you. Plus, I feel like I have what I need to be able to do this effectively, |
| 0:12.1 | to be able to say, you know what, I've walked the walk. I'm preaching to you, but I'm also doing |
| 0:17.5 | what I am preaching. So today we're going to talk about how your physical health |
| 0:22.3 | will skyrocket your business this year. But before we get started, I wanted to share a little |
| 0:29.2 | bit about a podcast I recently listened to by Ed Milette. If you're not already listening to his |
| 0:34.2 | show, he's amazing. And he was telling a story about success. |
| 0:38.6 | And I'll be honest, I don't, I don't listen to a lot of podcasts anymore on how to be successful |
| 0:44.0 | or how to find your habits because I feel like they're overdone. And I also feel like I don't get a |
| 0:48.9 | lot out of them anymore. It's the same conversation, just a different person. But this was a really |
| 0:53.3 | unique take on it. And that's |
| 0:55.0 | what I love about Ed and his show is that he really challenges me on topics that I think I already |
| 1:00.5 | know a lot about. So if you're listening and you're thinking, Casey, I already know about what you're |
| 1:04.8 | going to say. You're going to tell me I need to work out and how that's going to make my business |
| 1:08.4 | sore because you just said that in the title. But I want to give you a lot more than that today, just as Ed gave me this weekend while I was on a |
| 1:15.5 | walk and I was listening. And so I also wanted to share what he said. He talks about as you begin |
| 1:21.2 | to learn success, there are many different components to starting something new or finding a new |
| 1:26.6 | routine in these new habits. |
| 1:27.8 | And he said, first, you've got to get comfortable being uncomfortable, which we already know, |
| 1:32.5 | though, right? |
| 1:33.6 | It's hard to be a beginner. |
| 1:35.4 | Just getting started, it's really ugly. |
