Summary
This week on Stay True Podcast, Madi sits down with Compassion International alumni Jey Mbiro for a powerful conversation about poverty, hope, and the life-changing impact of compassion through the local church. Jey shares his incredible story of growing up in Kenya, surviving through stealing and begging, and being imprisoned at just nine years old before crying out to God.
Through Compassion International, sponsorship, and the love of Jesus, Jey's life was completely transformed. Today, he's using his story and ministry to bring hope to the next generation and remind others that no life is too far gone for God's redemption. Together, Madi and Jey discuss the role of the Church in fighting poverty, why sponsorship matters deeply, and how one act of compassion can change a child's life forever.
