Liz Trust has been Prime Minister for just over a month,

but people are already talking about how her premiership might end.

Katie, you write in this week's magazine about the four scenarios

that might take Liz Trust out of office. Can you talk us through them?

Yes, so what was interesting at Tory conference was the conversations that weren't taking place in public

and I think even though you could see that the party was pretty rebellious,

cabinet speaking out on others, but the question is taking place in private.

You know, people are asking you know, how does this end?

Is it sustainable for Liz Trust to lead the party into the next election given the current polling?

It's just you so far behind and you know, general concerns about the direction.

And all of a sudden MPs, AIDS for my AIDS starting to war game various scenarios.

And I don't think there's a sense that any of them are the most likely or the least likely,

it's just a sense of everyone that feels quite taken aback by how bad things have gone so quickly.

And I was just thinking ahead. So I think option one, which probably speaking to MPs at least a few days ago may have not changed.

I would say more MPs are not think is the more likely one is that Liz Trust fights on.

So in the scenario, Liz Trust leads the party into the next election.
