Jenny Craig, this company is named after a woman.

Who is she and what is the evolution of this brand?

There is a literal Jenny Craig and she founded the company with her husband back in 1983.

Her full name is actually Genevieve Craig.

She struggled to lose weight after having kids.

When I was pregnant for my second daughter, I gained 45 pounds and after she was born,

I looked in the mirror and I said, you've got to do something about this.

And she and her husband started this company first in Australia.

She was an American but it started in Australia then it expanded pretty soon after into the

US.
