1:29.2

I hope y all love this episode because a lot of you had some big brother. You'll love big brother. And I had somebody ask, this was on one of the questions. And this is something, I don't know if we've ever done an episode on marriage boot camp. They asked if we could talk more about Marriage Boot Camp. And our time on there, why we did it, things like that. So Marriage Boot Camp, when we were asked to do the show, I mean, let's be honest, we were like the no bodies on Marriage Boot Camp. They just kind of needed another couple. And we really didn't have any problems. They just were having a really hard time getting something from us because remember, they kept calling all of our friends, trying to find something that was wrong. Because they have, I mean, you have to know they're making a show. So they have to get stories together. And there's always storylines, right? Yeah. So a lot of people were mad at us when they found out we were doing Marriage Boot Camp because they're like, oh my gosh, why are y'all doing this? And we did Marriage Boot Camp for a paycheck. That's one reason why. And two, it just helped us. It really did. And it was, I felt like on the show, I was more closed off. I kind of took a step back because I felt like I didn't trust how we were getting edited because you never know. It was a different production company. I was used to CBS. I was used to like Big Brother, those producers. And if you don't say it, they can't use it, right? So let's take a step back if I would all start it. So that was actually we were really struggling with whether to do it or not. The offer came in. I was with William Morris at the time, which I'm no longer with anymore. And I had a manager for the first time. And I'm not really a manager guy, I don't wanna get two in the weeds,

3:26.0

but you have to pay your agent a percentage, and then you have to pay your manager a percentage. So the manager I had at the time was like, I don't want you to take this. And I was really struggling with the decision and I hate not firing people, but I'm doing this. You know what I mean? don't want me to do this, but I'm doing this and I'm actually going to let you go at the

3:45.5

same time because I didn't want to pay commissions on it.

3:48.7

You know, I mean? I know you don't want me to do this, but I'm doing this and I'm actually gonna let you go

3:45.4

at the same time because I didn't want to pay commissions on it.

3:48.6

You know, he was upset about that.

3:51.0

It was a long whole thing that I was really struggled with. I had to go out with my buddy Mike's boss, his wife Melissa, who she's a boss herself. And she's like, Jeff, you have to do what's best for you and get rid of this guy.

It's not personal.
