your attention, and your energy.

And that leads to two questions.

Not what the society say should, but what actually is a priority in your own life.

And today, Kristi Shen and Bryce Leung join us to talk about how they built a portfolio

of $1 million and reached financial independence at the age of 31 and 32.

Here's their brief backstory.

Kristi grew up in rural China, and for a time, her family lived on the US equivalent of

$0.44 a day.

When she was eight, she and her family immigrated to Canada, and that's where, for the first

time in her life, she had enough money to drink a can of Coca-Cola, in her eyes she'd

made it.

Kristi and Bryce met each other as university students.

They got married, moved to Toronto, and began saving money for a down payment on a home.
