Summary

We live in an entertainment world and with all of the media that is available to us at any given moment, we think it is important to discuss how to know what we should or should not consume. Movies, Music, TV. How do we know what kinds of things we should be watching as married Christians? What do I do if my spouse won't stops watching that show that I don't think he should watching? She says it doesn't affect her the same way it affects me, now what do I do? In this episode, we discuss how we navigate entertainment in our home and life. We also give some Biblical ways of thinking about this issue. -- FOR MORE ENCOURAGEMENT https://marriageaftergod.com https://instagram.com/marriageaftergod SHOP MARRIAGE RESOURCES https://shop.unveiledwife.com FOR WIVES https://unveiledwife.com https://facebook.com/unveiledwife FOR HUSBANDS https://husbandrevolution.com https://facebook.com/HusbandRevolution

two hours of TV every day. So we're not here to do that. But we do want to present the conversation

and encourage husbands and wives to talk about it and to consider what their boundaries are for

0:51.0

their marriage, what their expectations are with each other. That's our goal with this episode

0:56.0

and why we're bringing it to the table. So we did want to share just from our journey what are some

1:01.2

perspectives, tips and things that we've kind of integrated into our marriage.

1:05.2

That's some scripturing. We're going to bring some scripturing.

1:07.0

Yeah, some scripturing to encourage you guys and just to share that about our marriage.

1:12.5

So first of all, I just want to share just so that you get to know Aaron and I that we love movies,

1:16.7

we love entertainment, we love TV shows and documentaries and music. And so this is,

1:23.1

this can be a challenging topic because I feel like over the last decade, the Lord has been helping

1:28.3

us navigate, you know, what are our boundaries and we find our perspective and we find our

1:33.8

perspective on it and he's used both of us to help us walk this, help us walk this out.

1:40.4

Yeah. And so he's used us in ways of communicating how we feel about certain shows,

1:47.0

where our comfortability is, how we feel convicted sometimes when God brings certain
