All right, thank you all for coming.

It's great to be back.

I think this is my third year doing this.

And it's a shame this year, we're not going to do it all in person.

I'm going to do it recorded.

But I'm going to talk a little bit about today's topic,

which is about cancer care,

but it's really about how we can do better as a county hospital.

Okay. So I want to get started by saying I think we do a lot of

great things in oncology, particularly the staff here at SFGH and the nursing staff at

SFGH and the social workers and all the people who work on the team. Some of those things

include we provide comfort for people, our patient population, who really benefits from it and needs it.

People who are in tough times and tough situations who benefit greatly from having such close follow-up,

close care, and such attentive staff. I think we provide guidance for people who may not know what they're expecting next.

And we do a great job here in SFGH of helping people think about what the next step might

be in their cancer care.

And I do think we give a lot of good drugs.

We have a lot of curative treatments we've been giving.

I know many of you have taken care of some of the patients that we've been seeing the last few months.

People with like Birkitt's lymphoma and we've cured them.

People with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, we've cured them.

And people with breast cancer who had surgery and got some chemotherapy and are doing really well.
