Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for

fitness since 2013 averaging about 21,000 steps a day. I am walking right now and would love

to have you join me for the next 10 minutes. I am walking through this wooded area that I've

recently discovered that's near our home

and has really become, in some ways, my go-to place now to record this podcast.

It is early daylight pre-sunrise. The temperature is warm.

The humidity is thick.

In other words, it's going to be a pretty typical summer day here in the Carolinas, which is okay by me.

Recently it was on a Zoom call, a Zoom meeting for work.

There were three of us from the radio station talking to a group of three from a, really a startup,

a company that is helping radio stations like ours do their on-air fundraisers. We have a particular

issue problem that we need solved, and we believe they can help us do that. So the meeting

went for about an hour as we were clarifying really for them what we needed. And once they got clarity on that,

they had to decide how long this was going to take them and how much they were going to charge us

for that. And so the founder of the company on the Zoom call says to the, I guess, CEO of the company,

he said, let's take a walk. Let's take a walk. And just before we wrapped up, I said,

wait, did you guys say you're going to take a walk and the founder said yeah we live close to each other
