The Trump White House has pushed a new resolution through the UN Security Council

that hands control of Gaza to an international body.

That body will be chaired, according to Donald Trump, by Donald Trump himself.

Meanwhile, as winter approaches, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza remain without shelter, without food, and continuing to face the Israeli military.

Tahar, welcome to the socialist program. Thanks for having me, Leanne. So, Tahit's been a pretty

big week of news in particular for the situation in Palestine. We're now in about the sixth week of

the ceasefire that was declared by Trump on October 10. And in that time, Israel has continued to

kill hundreds of Palestinians and wound many more. And we're seeing now winter is approaching.
