I finally had to bring my writing time inside for the first time since July. It is winter after all. I'm a creature of habit so switching

things up is always distracting to me. But I was surprised to find how much

instead of outside where there are birds and rabbits and trains and cars and

wind and who knows what else. But I got to tell you those first

days back inside I had a crazy hard time concentrating. For starters I

didn't realize until I was back how awesome it was to write away from the computer

and the internet.

Hopping on to Pinterest and getting sucked down the dark hole of Black Friday ads is not the recipe for a productive writing session.

This week I've decided to just shut the whole computer off while I write.
