Since I'm doing this episode this week alone

in this world of social distancing,

this is Deb Bowen and I'm so happy to be with you this week.

I've created an episode this week

that many of you have been asking me to do for some time now.

This week we're discussing the five elements

in my tradition, air, fire, water,

earth and spirit.

Together these five form a pentagram of energy

that moves from one point of the star to another

and an ever-flowing, evolving spinning wheel of connection.

However, I know it's easier to conceptualize them

as separate things, so that's where we'll start.

And then later in the show I'll talk about

how they work together.

It might be good if you could have pen and paper handy

because I'm gonna offer suggestions to you

as to how you can work with the energy of each of the elements

and you know I'll be making book recommendations and such.
