Summary

Denise Gosnell is a business strategist, attorney, bestselling author, and investor. Denise owns 3 companies and works an average of 3 days per week and generates 7 figures each year.

Top 3 Value Bombs:

1. Freedom is a mindset, not a destination. You have to choose to have it or you never will.

2. The term "grow by subtraction" means to grow by removing from your To Do List versus adding to it. You're forcing yourself to pick the things that matter and cross off stuff that doesn't. So, you're actually growing by doing less.

3. Build a business around your life and be willing to limit the amount of time that you're willing to work so that you force yourself to focus on what really matters.

1:26.0

Thank you so much for having me. You know, the one thing I think that most people would disagree with me on is that I believe that there's no magic level of success where you're ever going to feel like it's enough.

2:22.0

So what is the biggest problem that you're seeing that's hurting entrepreneurs the most.

2:27.0

The biggest thing is that we have this hustle and grind culture in North America especially the United States and also in some other places around the world but the hustle and grind is touted as the only way to succeed when that's not actually true.

2:41.0

I mean sure you can hustle and grind your way to success but it's not sustainable long term and in fact you can grow your business by doing less and by being more strategic.

2:51.0

But the problem though is that it's so deep rooted in our culture that this hustle and grind is the only way to succeed that people are like burning out and working to exhaustion and it's just not sustainable.

3:04.0

I can tell you fire Nation my first few years building entrepreneurs on fire was a hustle it was a grind and my body my health paid for it and you know I could have kept growing and trying to expand and add more to my plate.
