You're listening to Hungry Gen audio podcast. One pastor was trying to get to United States from

from Europe. It was during the time that they did not have airplanes. And so he got his ticket

on the voyage, on the ship, spent all of his savings to get the money, to get the ticket to come to the United

States. But he didn't have the money to eat in those fancy restaurants that the ship had.

So what he did instead of eating in the fancy restaurants, he got a big bag and saved himself

some cheese and crackers. For 21 21 days this trip would last.

So the first day he got there, you know, he kept his hope alive that, you know, he's moving

to the United States, he was coming from persecuted country and first day he came out on the

board eating his cheese and crackers. Second day he's eating cheese and crackers. Third day, he's eating cheese and crackers. On the 20th day, he came out on the board eating his cheese and crackers. Second day, he's eating cheese and crackers. Third day, he's eating cheese and crackers. On the 20th day, after eating

cheese or crackers, one of the guys comes to him and says, hey, no mean to offend you, sir,

but I've noticed that every single day when we go to the buffet, you go into the side and you stick your head into your bag. What is that that you do? And he felt really embarrassed. He said, I'm very poor and I don't have money to afford all of these fancy restaurants. So I could only save up money to buy the ticket. And so, you know, all of you giggling over there and laughing as you devouring your fancy food,

I'm actually enjoying my cheese and crackers and I cannot wait to get to the States so that this

torture of cheese and crackers will come to an end. The man looked at him and he says,

you get to be kidding me. Did you not know that all the buffets and all the restaurants were included in your ticket?

I wonder sometimes how many times we as Christians live on cheese and crackers now realizing of stuff that's already included in their ticket.

And we're just waiting for the sweet by and by for Jesus to come and sweep us

and finish all the problems and wait for all of the promises of God to be fulfilled out there when we

die. So many people look to death for their deliverance instead of Christ. When I die,

this is when I'll be free. When I die, this is when things will end. You know, Jesus Christ

doesn't want death to be your deliverer. He, this is when things will end. You know, Jesus Christ doesn't want death

to be your deliverer. He wants himself to be your deliverer. I want you to rise to your feet. We're
