I'm Ryan Lerr on WMLIC. Good morning again, everyone. Well, everybody is already talking

0:15.4

about next year's presidential election and that'll be part of the context when we have

0:20.0

Cassidy Hutchinson on later in the show. But this year's election is now underway. Yes,

0:25.6

there is an election this year. And in our area, it matters a lot. The whole New York

0:30.2

City Council is up for reelection and with all the issues going on in the city and you

0:35.2

know what they are, that matters a lot. The whole New York City Council is up for election

0:40.1

and the whole New Jersey legislature is up for election. So now we're going to preview

1:42.1

1:47.8

lines for these city council districts had to be redrawn based on the latest census data.

1:54.3

And so that meant some of these districts shift a little bit. It's very important before

1:58.3

you go out to vote. You should make sure that you check and know who you're voting for because

2:02.9

there is a chance that in some cases that you may be in a different city council district than you
