Welcome back to the Thursday book I talk from clune.com, Doug Lamarice, Nathan Baird. Stephen

means not here. He's getting ready for the basketball box guys in the big 10 tournament.

So Nathan and I are going to have a journalism panel discussion. We hope you think that's

interesting. Listen, this is, we wanted to talk about this. We had our tech subscribers,

Nathan who were sort of a couple of them were saying, hey, what are you thinking this? What

do you hear about it? There's this high school coach in Georgia who used to coach in Alabama,

who was recorded by someone who was having a conversation with him. It's not clear. I don't

think the coach knew he was being recorded. And in this conversation, he is saying how Alabama

and Georgia, Nick Saban at Alabama and Kirby smart at Georgia, go about paying recruits.

There's no verification. There's no corroboration. It's out there. It is out there in the aggregate

or world. I still don't have a firm grasp of exactly how it got out that I think he was

he was having this conversation with somebody like, there wasn't a journalist. It was like

somebody I think that in the football world, kind of the he knew and it got recorded and

it got posted. And I know the big lead did a thing about it, just sort of saying, hey,

here's what's on the recording. Couple other sites. I have not seen like a like a big like

media outlet that like does reporting do anything with this yet. So I think that's interesting,

but we have we and so we use this sort of a year suggestion, Nathan, to ask our tech subscribers

kind of like their thoughts on recruiting and cheating and college football. And we're not

going to get into specifics of who doesn't, who doesn't. And we're actually not going to get

into facts because I'm not going to pretend I have a lot of facts on this. But I'm interested in

the perception of the average college fan, the average Ohio State fan, what's like in the back
