Son of Founder(Truett Kathy) of Chick Fil A, Dan Kathy witnessed the different stages of this empire being built first hand. One of his first jobs was to pull gum from under the tables and chairs. He realized his calling as a teenager. Dan has experienced the power of family business and what it means to pass the baton to his oldest son.

He partnered with Arthur Blank to help improve economic mobility in Atlanta. They were able to raise 6.2 million dollars that was able to serve 6 organizations in Atlanta.

Chick-Fil-A is one of the largest American fast food restaurant chains and the largest specializing in chicken sandwiches.The company is headquartered in College Park, Georgia. Chick-fil-A operates 2,836 restaurants, primarily in the United States.

0:35.7	Now, pointing and sharing this with all of us here today is that we all need to get convicted

0:47.3	He says, we begin to die when we quit caring about things that really matter.
0:53.6	And I don't want to die. You know, I want my heart to be moved. I want to be moved with conviction.
1:00.8	I want my heart to be moved by compassion and to see the things that are going on around us.
1:06.9	And to know that we can use that power of conviction to make a difference in the life
1:14.4	in the world in which we live today. We've got a lot of challenges that we know they're out there.
1:19.2	And so I want to share with all of you today that your convictions, the passions of your heart,
1:29.7	that ought to drive us all and be our energy, our vision and motivation.
1:35.2	Not like for business, but business and pre-enterprise system.
1:40.1	It's a wonderful, wonderful institution to graze the lifestyle of everyone.
1:45.9	That everyone can participate in a better life.
1:50.5	Better life is not just about prosperity, but better life is about joy and peace and happiness.
