Good morning everyone and welcome back to another Mornings with the Masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. Good morning indeed we're picking

up with the new devotional Bible app before we get into that one we actually just completed another

one over the weekend that was all about the out of balance believer so if you miss those be sure to

go out be sure to go back and check those out but this new one is called seven days to becoming a

more generous person but it's about generosity as a whole of course we all think about finances

but this is a whole so we're super excited about it there's a link to that in the description if

you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture then Tori is

going to pick over the divo let's do it the scripture is Psalms chapter 24 verse one and it says

this the earth is the lords and everything in it the world and all its people belong to him the

devotional is titled what does it mean to be generous and it starts with this quote we should live more

simply and give more generously because heaven is our home the single greatest deterrent to giving

into living more simply is the illusion that this world is our home the principle of generosity is

laced all throughout scripture in fact we have the best model and mentor when it comes to generosity

God he sent his son Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins so that we could spend eternity with him

that is the epitome of generosity in order to learn how to live generously we must grasp what it

means the word generous is defined as open and giving or sharing willing to give help or support

unselfish generous living is a lifestyle where we are others focused it is not a one-size-fits-all

concept and it is not limited to the wealthy the gifted the beautiful or the lucky it's a journey

of our hearts being transformed from what can I get to what can I give it's allowing God to cultivate a

generous heart within us much like worship generosity is the disposition of our hearts so I'm 24
