What are articles anyway?

In English, articles are words used with nouns to specify the degree of definiteness of a statement about the noun.

And nouns are generally people or things.

Let's look at a few examples to get a better idea.

I want to read the book, a specific book.

I want to read a book, any book.

I like the movie.

Talking about a specific movie. I like a movie.

Talking about any movie.
