We have a lot of different ways that you can use produce or scraps of the

produce from the garden. A lot of people will regrow food scraps which we've

talked about before to varying levels of success.

But there's some things that would normally be waste that you can still use.

So for example, take like an orange peel.

That's a lot of waste if you think about it.

It's a decent amount of the orange.

So what can you do?

Well, you could certainly compost it, and that's your go-to.

I mean, really compost should be considered your trash, and I say. your that's where it should go is a default. But what else can you do?

You can actually turn them into candy

They just don't taste the way that we want them to taste.

So what you can do is take water, sugar, citrus peals, and a candy thermometer, and then you can just make

live a healthier life. Citrus peals, you can also turn them into a simple syrup or infuse them into a simple

syrup. So water, dissolved sugar, and then you just leave them in there for a while.

So a lot of different ways to use that.
