0:06.9	soaker hoses, which is very timely at least for me. We're living in one of the
0:12.2	drier seasons that I've personally ever
0:14.8	gardened in and soaker hoses are pretty much a godsend for good watering.
0:19.4	It enables you to easily directly water where it's needed without any headaches, but you kind of have to know how to use one, how to set it up, what are the best types, and you know, you just want to maximize your watering when it comes to dry
0:35.5	climates and especially when it comes to a soaker hose so first of all let's dig
0:39.8	into it what is an actual soaker hose?
0:42.6	Well, as it would imply from its name,
0:44.8	they are just hoses that will soak your plants.
0:46.9	They're made of a porous rubber material.
0:49.2	So the entire hose is the watering instrument.
0:51.8	It's different from drip irrigation. Trip
0:53.8	irrigation has emitters. The rest of it is non-porous. The soaker hose, the entire
0:59.2	thing is porous and so it's going to water across the length of the entire hose.

1:09.0	It's thoroughly sterilized, it's repurposed into something sustainable. There's a lot of benefits to

1:18.4	spray so you reduce water usage pretty significantly as opposed to a sprinkler or even hand watering.
