You mentioned that if someone is suffering, the best way to get out of it is to be in service of someone else.

Right?

And if we are in suffering, I mean, when you're going through chemotherapy with breast cancer, you said you couldn't just sit around for four months during chemo.

You had to somehow use some energy to be active and serve others.

So how did you apply that strategy during one of the scariest moments of your life?

Fortunately, I had trained a lot of my clients, and I refer to my patients as clients just because, you know, quality, like I'm not up here, they're done here, just in validation.

And I've never experienced, honestly, such profound validation as I did from my clients who are not supposed to take care of me.

There's no expectation there. But there was this like, I got you. And man, you're showing up for me

and all this. Wow. Like, hell yeah. You like lost your hair, everything. It was everything.

I remember I was in the hospital. I was at, towards the end of the chemotherapy,

I had this really bad infection from a bad needle. And it had gone, it was going towards these

expanders that I had after the mastectomy. Oh. And the doctor says, this infection is not clearing up.

They've got me on 24-hour antibiotics.

And he says, if the antibiotics, if this goes to the expanders, it'll kill you.
