Ep 137 Have you ever wished you could curate more magic into your daily life? Building a routine is so important but how do we take our routines a step further to ritualize the mundane? We’re all guilty of rushing through our days to maximize productivity, yet slowing wayyyy down allows us to find meaning in the in-between moments. In this episode, I’m taking you through some of the special daily & seasonal rituals that have helped me mark important moments in time, incorporate prayer and mindfulness to really understand what’s happening in my life, and shifted my mindset to see the beauty of what is in front of me. We think that the impactful moments in life have to all be large but the real moments are as small as appreciating warm socks, climbing into a made bed, or gentle movement. Turning an everyday task into something sacred can be the first step to shifting our minds to a state of gratitude. Through developing a ritual around daily and seasonal practices we can nurture a deeper relationship with ourselves, and our ancestors to make our day-to-day life just a little bit sweeter.

Hello and welcome back to What's the Juice podcast. Today I am letting you guys into all of like the

routines and rituals and kind of like spiritual practices around how I choose to pray and practice

gratitude. I'm just kind of breaking down like my personal formula as to how I've been

able to find more connection and more grounding in my life and really kind of set up these

spaces and places and times for me to go within and support the growth that I'm experiencing

and that I think we're all experiencing as people.

People have asked me over the years about like, what's my morning routine and what do I eat

in today and what's my workout routine?

And what I think is really interesting aside from all of those things is people's like

spiritual routines, I guess, and how each of us choose to make meaning and find little pockets of magic that bring us back to

ourselves and kind of like bookend each day and make life feel more meaningful instead of kind of

like living the same day over and over again. And I used to be a person that didn't really have a lot of

routines and practices. I didn't pray in the morning or kind of like

say any words of gratitude. I didn't have a space where I would go and connect. I didn't do any sort of

consistent breath work or, you know, like talking to myself at night or marking moments of time

with like special nature rituals or routines. And since I've added in a lot of these practices,

I feel like life has just become so much more colorful and so much more rich.

And now I have these like markers of, oh yeah, like, after I did that spring ritual

where like I honored what I wanted to grow in this season of my life. Things really did change.

Like, it's kind of given me little pins in time so that time doesn't feel as rushed in my life.

And I'm able to kind of, like, look back at these markers or pins and really remember the events from my life and become more present with the magic that is our life.
