What is the devil's goal when he sends temptation our way?

The devil doesn't mind if you live in a nice house.

The devil doesn't mind if you're suave intelligent.

The devil doesn't mind if you belong to civic clubs.

The devil doesn't mind if you attend church, if you worship.

He doesn't mind whatever you do so long as you don't know God.

You don't know God.

What the devil is trying to do is to cut you off from God.

And so the devil is the one who puts those doubts in your mind.

The devil is the one who tries to separate you from God.
